We are citizens of Pottawattamie County Iowa who take the leadership mandates from President Donald Trump and Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds driving Department of Government Efficiency (“D.O.G.E.”) improvements very seriously. We recognize these same mandates must flow through local governments with the same critical eye on spending and assuring the most efficient use of taxpayer dollars. We recognize Pottawattamie County has the highest urban levy rate of Iowa’s most populated counties in the current fiscal year.
